I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
Hi everyone, my name is Hayley!
Last year on the 8th November, I attempted to take my own life. I have struggled, and still struggle with, depression, anxiety & ASD. This year, in honour of my own experiences, I will be walking 20km on the 10th September. This date marks World Suicide Prevention Day.
65,000 people every year attempt to take their lives, and 3000 people die from suicide each year. This is in Australia ALONE.
All the funds & donations I will receive will go to Lifeline Australia. The impacts they make on individuals every single day is everlasting, and saves lives. If you want to learn more about what they do, search lifeline.com.au
