Lifeline Geelong welcomes the community to walk on the 10th September in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day.We invite you to join or organise a walk at your own time and place in recognition of the 9 lives lost to suicide everyday in Australia.Feel part of a community who are connected through their desire to advocate for suicide prevention in our local community this World Suicide Prevention Day. We appreciate any fundraising effort you choose to undertake, and want you to know that the money you raise will assist more people to access support that can be life saving.

Hi Laura , such a great effort from you so well done from the bottom of heart. I lost my Mother to suicide when I was 17 years old , some 36 years ago now - Not a day goes past when I don't think about it & the terrible lasting effect suicide has left..A cause I know way too much about & very close to my heart .. So from me to you I send you all the Love , Strength (you'll need that to recover from the 9km walk) and dip my hat in appreciation and ore of you.
